"Winter Sunset at Riber Castle"

The ruined castle dominates the skyline to the south of Matlock. For many years the grounds of the castle served as a wildlife zoo specializing in the Lynx. In 2001 the zoo closed and the site was bought by a property developer. This winter view of the castle, painted in 2002, may well become a collector's item!
